Battle of Bluejays
If it's March, it's time for brackets to take over the Internet.
Every year, the NCAA tournament has everyone thinking about 5-12 upsets, No. 1 seeds, Cinderellas, favorites and flops. Now, fresh off the heels of the 100th anniversary of Creighton's first men's basketball game, March Madness gives us another chance to reflect on Bluejay basketball's history from a different perspective: the players.
In our "Battle of Bluejays" bracket, we're asking for your take on the greatest players in program history. Your votes will decide the outcome of a 64-person bracket crowning the greatest Bluejay basketball player of all time. Your vote should be based on each player's CU career — while NBA feats or a future coaching career certainly add to an overall résumé, this contest seeks to name the player who you think most embodies greatness while wearing the name "Creighton" across their chest. Because we're trying to gauge an entire CU career, the bracket does not include any active players.
Voting opens Sunday, March 12, and will continue through April 1. On Sunday, April 2, we'll crown a champion.
