Company D, 151st Indiana Infantry
Daggy was born in Miami County, Indiana on December 18, 1848. He was residing in Bunker Hill (Miami County), Indiana when he enlisted and was mustered in the regiment on February 6, 1865. Daggy served 7 months and was discharged on September 19, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.
The 151st Indiana Infantry was organized and mustered at Indianapolis on March 3, 1865. The regiment was sent to Tennessee and performed garrison duty until it was mustered out.
Daggy died on August 8, 1936 at the age of 87 years. He is buried in the Bayard Cemetery in Bayard (Morrill County), Nebraska. Daggy was a member of the Robinson Post (#350) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Bayard.
