Sergeant Oliver F Dunn
Company B, 145th Pennsylvania Infantry
Dunn was born in Erie County, Pennsylvania on September 15, 1841. He enlisted and was mustered in the regiment as a sergeant on August 26, 1862. Dunn served 11 months before being discharged on July 24, 1863 due to disability. Some Civil War sources indicate that Dunn used his middle name “Finley” as his first name.
He died on August 24, 1930 at the age of 88 years. He is buried in the Wyuka Cemetery in Lincoln (Lancaster County), Nebraska. Dunn was a member of the Farragut Post (#25) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Lincoln.
