Company K, 182nd Ohio Infantry

Warren was born in Williams County, Ohio on November 19, 1847. The 16 year old enlisted in the regiment on October 3, 1864 and was mustered on October 15, 1864. He served a little over 8 months and was discharged on May 29, 1865 at Nashville, Tennessee.

The 182nd Ohio Infantry was organized at Camp Chase, Ohio between August 4 and October 13, 1864. It was assigned to post and garrison duty in the Nashville, Tennessee area. In addition, it fought at the Battle of Nashville (TN) (December 15-16, 1864).

Warren died on June 26, 1939 at the age of 91 years. He is buried in the Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln (Lancaster County), Nebraska. Warren was a member of the Farragut Post (#25) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Lincoln.
