Company I, 150th Indiana Infantry

Moore was born in Indiana on March 8, 1842. He was living in Clinton County, Indiana when he enlisted and was mustered in the regiment on March 1, 1865. He served about 5 months and was discharged on August 5, 1865 at Jordan’s Springs, Virginia.

The 150th Indiana Infantry was organized and mustered at Indianapolis on March 9, 1865. The unit was assigned to duties in Virginia and West Virginia until it was mustered out on August 5, 1865.

Moore died on February 9, 1921 at at the age of 78 years. He is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Franklin (Franklin County), Nebraska. He was a charter member and the last member of the Rock Face Post (#161) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Morseville, Nebraska.
