Private Harry B Hull

Company D, 15th Vermont Infantry

Hull was born in 1838. He was residing in Washington (Orange County), Vermont when he enlisted in the regiment on September 15, 1862. Hull was mustered in on October 22, 1862 and served about 11 months. He was mustered out on August 5, 1863 at Brattleboro, Vermont.

The 15th Vermont Infantry was organized and mustered at Brattleboro, Vermont on October 22, 1863. The unit was organized for 9 months and was stationed in Virginia. From July 4-18, 1863 the regiment was assigned to the pursuit of General Lee after the Battle of Gettysburg.

Hull died on June 6, 1888. He is buried in the Culbertson Cemetery in Culbertson (Hitchcock County), Nebraska. The Hull Post (#269) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Palisade, Nebraska is named after Hull.
