Major James T Holland

10th Wisconsin Infantry

Holland was born in 1845. The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) website indicates that Holland served with the 10th Wisconsin Infantry and that Post #75 of the GAR is named for him. In addition, Nebraska Historical Society records mention that he was a charter member of the Post. Holland’s name was not found in Wisconsin Civil War records.

Holland died on February 16, 1881. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Crete (Saline County), Nebraska.
