Nebraska’s presence at Lawton High School in Oklahoma continues to grow. The Huskers signed 2015 offensive lineman Jalin Barnett from the school, and now have offered another Lawton alum — Maurice Chandler, a 6-1, 190-pound corner.
Chandler is at Northeastern Oklahoma College now, and his only ranking is from Rivals, which has him as a three-star. Lawton also produced former Huskers Mike Minter and Will Shields.
The Huskers have offered along with Arizona State, Kansas State, Oregon State and Texas Tech. NU defensive backs coach Brian Stewart is Chandler’s lead recruiter.
Down to Nebraska and Arizona State, Chandler announced Dec. 3 that he'd make his decision on Monday, Dec. 7:
