University of Nebraska employee vehicle and membership gifts

Fifty staffers, from the university’s top leadership down to assistant coaches, get their memberships to country clubs, golf clubs or health clubs paid for by the University of Nebraska Foundation. Eighty get cars, collectively valued at $2.25 million and ranging from economical sedans to luxury SUVs, donated through college-affiliated nonprofits. While a few staffers took one or the other, a majority of them get both.
