The Big Ten released its final weekly awards for the 2017 regular season and freshman outfielder Mojo Hagge was one of the names included.
Hagge was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week. The Omaha native hit 6 for 13 (.462), helping the Huskers to their first ever regular-season Big Ten title.
The Omaha Skutt graduate registered a double and a triple, along with three RBIs, in a series victory over Penn State.
Hagge is the first Nebraska player to earn the award since Matt Waldron on May 24 last season.
Nebraska is set to travel to Bloomington, Indiana, for the Big Ten tournament, where the top-seeded Huskers will face eighth-seeded Purdue in the first round Wednesday.
