Nebraska women's basketball coach Amy Williams has first recruiting class ranked No. 20 by espnW

Both of Nebraska women's basketball's 2017 commits finished in ESPN's Top 100, helping land the Huskers at No. 20 in espnW's recruiting rankings.

Taylor Kissinger, a 6-foot-1 guard/forward from Minden, finished as the No. 38 player in the country. She finished her senior season averaging 24.2 points and nine rebounds a game.

Despite missing 27 games due to injury in her final two high school seasons, Kissinger finished her prep career with 1,751 points, 611 rebounds, 310 assists and 202 steals.

Kate Cain, a 6-foot-5 center from Middletown, New York, joined NU in mid-June. She finished ranked No. 82 overall and a top-10 post player by espnW. She finished her senior year averaging 25.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 7.9 blocks per game.

Two transfers also bolstered the class. Senior guard Janay Morton and sophomore Bria Stallworth will move to Lincoln from Eastern Michigan and UMass, respectively.

Northwestern which had three Top-100 commits, is the only other Big Ten school ranked in the top 20, coming in at No. 18.
