Tanner Lee did not take the field for the second half Saturday against Minnesota due to illness, and his return is questionable.
Redshirt freshman Patrick O'Brien took the first snap at quarterback for Nebraska in the third quarter. Lee was not visible on the Husker sidelines.
Lee completed 13 of 18 passes in the first half for 174 yards and a 14-yard touchdown to Tyler Hoppes.
O'Brien had played only sparingly before Saturday. He entered the Minnesota game with six completions on 12 attempts for 55 yards and an interception. The Huskers went three-and-out on their first drive of the second half; a seven-yard pass by O'Brien to Stanley Morgan came up short on third down.
