At least some analysts are expecting Nebraska basketball to get a nice little offensive bump from freshman Isaiah Roby this season.
Roby, a 6-foot-8, 214-pound wing, is projected by Sports Illustrated as the nation's 36th-best freshman in the country in terms of projected scoring. SI expects eight points per game from the first-year player from Dixon, Illinois.
SI looks at a number of factors in building its list, including the quality of a player's coach and teammates and how the player fits within the 2016–17 roster.
Roby, who has been dinged-up this offseason with a stress reaction in his pelvis, averaged 19.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.9 blocks per game his final season at Dixon High School, which went 25-4 during his senior campaign.
