Former Creighton star Doug McDermott drawing raves for his work in the post

Known for his work in the post at Creighton, McBuckets is using that "craftiness" in the NBA. His fancy post moves and baselines cuts drew praise from ESPN analyst Zach Lowe.

Lowe studied film of the former Jays star and wrote that McDermott "clearly spent time working on his left hand, and getting comfortable shooting with it has unlocked a new level of craftiness in tight spaces along the baseline."

Lowe also noted that "he's not afraid to launch lefty floaters off the dribble if the defense overplays his right hand."

Since returning from a concussion, McDermott is averaging 8.0 points per game and is shooting 33 percent from behind the arc.
