Former Husker Randy Gregory makes season debut on Monday Night Football

Former Husker defensive end Randy Gregory is active for the first time this season as Dallas hosts Detroit on Monday Night Football.

Gregory served a 14-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He was originally suspended four games, but had a 10-game ban added for another violation.

Despite making the tackle on his first play from scrimmage, the drive didn't end how Gregory (No. 94) and the Cowboys may have hoped:

The second-year player, who has yet to record a sack in his career, will receive a bump in playing time since Cowboys defensive ends DeMarcus Lawrence (back) and Tyrone Crawford (shoulder, hamstring) are inactive.

Here is Gregory warming up before the game.
