Cincinnati Bengals running back Rex Burkhead set several career marks Sunday.
Burkhead ran for 119 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries as Cincinnati topped Baltimore 27-10. He also had two receptions for 25 yards.
The former Husker ran five yards for the first touchdown of his career on Cincinnati's first possession. He later added another five-yard TD in the fourth quarter.
Burkhead has seen plenty of work since Cincinnati's Giovani Bernard suffered a torn ACL in a loss to the Bills on Nov. 20, but Sunday marked the first time the 26-year-old hit the century mark in yards.
Here are a few highlights from Burkhead's day.
Burkhead, who is a nominee for the NFL's ground player of the week, finished the season with 74 rushes for 344 yards and two scores. He also caught 17 passes for 145 yards.
