Vincent Valentine 'throws the bones' after making big play for Patriots

Down 17-6, Pittsburgh was threatening to score in the red zone, but a big stop by former Husker Vincent Valentine hindered the Steelers' plans.

The rookie wrapped up Pittsburgh running back DeAngelo Williams in the backfield to force a third-and-goal. He followed it up by paying tribute to his alma mater by "throwing the bones."

New England would hold Pittsburgh to a field goal before going on to win 36-17.

That means Nebraska's streak of having at least one former player in the Super Bowl is now at 24 years. That streak is the longest of its kind in the nation.
