Former UNO hockey star Jake Guentzel, returning from injury, made an immediate impact with the Penguins in their Friday matchup against the Rangers.
Guentzel returned to Pittsburgh's lineup after missing four games due to a concussion suffered March 21.
The goal, which gave the Penguins a 1-0 lead less than a minute into the second period, marked the rookie's 12th of the season. He has also accumulated 14 assists in 36 games.
Sidney Crosby assisted on the goal, giving him the 641st of his career — good enough for second on the Penguins all-time list.
