It took nine professional seasons and 158 games, but former Creighton soccer star Seth Sinovic scored his first career MLS regular-season goal Sunday.
A rebound off the keeper landed perfectly in front of Sinovic, who took it from there to find the back of the net.
Sinovic immediately took off running in celebration of his goal.
Sinovic, originally a walk-on at Creighton, was a two-time All-Missouri Valley selection. He scored eight goals and tallied 15 assists in 77 appearances for the Jays.
