The tears were flowing during the coin toss before Nebraska's spring game Saturday.
A family of Husker fans got to join the Huskers at midfield for the pregame ceremony. But to their surprise, not all of the people in Husker uniforms were actually Husker football players.
The coin toss turned into an emotional moment when staff sergeant Matthew Hawke revealed himself to his family. It was the first time they'd gotten to see him since he returned from a deployment overseas.
