Williman was born on August 7, 1847. The 16 year old enlisted on February 17, 1865 and was mustered on March 9, 1865. Wiliiman served about 6 months. He was discharged on September 1, 1865 at Winchester, Virginia.
The 192nd Ohio Infantry was organized at Camp Chase, Ohio on March 9, 1865. The unit was assigned to duty in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley and remained at that location until August 25, 1865. It was mustered out on September 1, 1865.
Williman died on November 12, 1939 at the age of 92 years. He is buried in the Central City Cemetery in Central City (Merrick County), Nebraska. Williman was a member of the Buford Post (#23) of the Grand Army of the Republic in Central City.
