Missourians Defeat University at Lincoln in a Very One-Sided Game.

LINCOLN, Neb, Oct 21 — The Columbia eleven came up from Missouri last night and went back tonight carrying the scalp of the university football team. The Missouri team simply outweighed and outplayed the Nebraskans and that is the shortest way to tell the story leading up to the score of 11 to 0.

The assault of the big Missourians was simply irresistible and their opponents attempts at bucking the line was greater injury to the buckers than to the bucked. The Nebraskans played with grit and a certain stick-to-it-if-it-is-certain-death sort of spirit which made the battle one that had to be fought to the last second.

Crandall of the Nebraska team did the best work of his side in tackling. Benedict made a splendid run around the end of the Missourians for a forty-five yard gain. The visitors got their score in the first half and in spite of this the Nebraskans were within four yards of the goal at the call of time. The Nebraskans kept the ball in Missouri territory nearly all the time during the last half.

The coach and the athletic board on one side and Captain Williams and his supporters among the players on the other have not been in
