Ames Badly Defeated

Fails to score against the University of Nebraska

Lincoln, Neb., Oct. 13 — The University of Nebraska football team today defeated the eleven from Ames, Ia., agricultural college by a score of 30 to 0 in a somewhat one-sided game played on the university campus.

This beats the score made against Ames by Minnesota a week ago today, which was 27 to 0.

The university team today showed up in a splendid shape, and made gains with equal certainty by bucking the line, by end runs and by kicking. Crandall’s runs around the end were the feature of the game.
