Niles Paul

HometownOmaha, NE
High schoolOmaha North

Paul ranks fifth all time at NU in career all-purpose yardage. If not for a leg injury in November 2010, he likely would have passed Ahman Green to leave Lincoln third behind Johnny Rodgers and Mike Rozier. Paul also sits fifth on the career receiving yardage chart and sixth in receptions.

Paul was named to the All-Big 12 second team for his contributions as a receiver and a kick returner.

Paul was named the winner of the Cletus Fischer Native Son Award, given annually to a senior Husker who is a native Nebraskan.

As a junior, Paul led the Huskers in receiving, punt returns and kickoff returns — his 27.9 yard average on kickoff returns was the school’s best in two decades.

He was the offensive MVP of the Holiday Bowl, totaling 123 yards on four receptions, including a 74-yard touchdown.
