A versatile athlete, Moore can help Nebraska in a number of ways. Moore finished with 1,347 yards rushing and 22 touchdowns in his senior season while playing quarterback. The athlete also excelled as a kick returner and even played some defensive back en route to being honored as the Class 2A offensive player of the year in Louisiana.

Moore first visited Lincoln over the summer of 2011 for a Nebraska quarterback camp and has said that he would like to get a shot at quarterback, though head coach Bo Pelini said he’ll likely be tried first at cornerback. A freak athlete, Moore is a standout basketball player, who will create a quandary for Nebraska’s coaching staff — where to use him? He led Winnfield to the Louisiana 2A state finals as a senior. Moore is the No. 50 wide receiver in the country and the No. 16 overall player in Louisiana.

Moore is a weapon that will give the Nebraska coaching staff quite a few options when he arrives on campus. Throughout his career, he was the go-to player for Winnfield. When the team needed a big play on offense, they found a way to get the ball in his hands. When it needed a big kick return, Moore fielded the punt. And even when the team needed a big stop on defense, he was playing cornerback. He could be an intriguing prospect as the Huskers look for the answers they need in the secondary.

Moore also considered Louisiana Tech, Northwestern State and Mississippi State.
