Aaron Banks received an offer from the Huskers on Feb. 2, 2016.
On July 24, Banks included the Huskers in his top 16. The other schools on his list included Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Vanderbilt, Washington and Wisconsin.
A little more than a month later, on Aug. 29, he narrowed that further to a top 10. Nebraska made the cut along with Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Florida, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, UCLA and USC.
Banks took his first official visit to Oregon on Sept. 10 and took his second the following week to Notre Dame. His third went to Michigan on Nov. 5.
Banks never made that visit and committed to Notre Dame on Dec. 9.
He posted a SPARQ score of 79.86 at The Opening Regional in Oakland in May. That included a 5.64-second 40-yard dash, 4.91-second 20-yard shuttle, 36-foot kneeling powerball toss and 23.8-inch vertical jump.
These are the players who built Nebraska football.
