Isaiah Johnson, a junior college prospect, received an offer from the Huskers on Feb. 27, 2016.

Originally from Georgia, Johnson now plays at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. He had 53 tackles for the Norsemen in 2015. He also had three sacks, an interception and forced a fumble.

He received all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honorable mention after that freshman campaign for NEO.

Johnson made his first visit to Lincoln for the spring game on April 16.

Johnson plans to enroll early at the school of his choice. He'd have three years remaining to fulfill two years of eligibility.

Johnson tore his ACL in March. He hopes to be able to return to the field during the season.
