Patrick Queen received an offer from the Huskers on April 5, 2016.

He's ranked as an athlete by most of the recruiting services, but Nebraska is interested in him as a running back. Reggie Davis is his lead recruiter.

Queen has been committed to LSU since Feb. 27, 2016. LSU is recruiting him as a linebacker.

On July 11, Queen posted a tweet that said he would take an official visit to Nebraska. He also plans to visit Indiana, LSU and Ole Miss.

Those visits would never take place, though. On Dec. 24, Queen announced that he was standing by his commitment to LSU and not visiting any other schools.

Nebraska running backs coach Reggie Davis was expected to make an in-home visit with Queen and his family on Nov. 28 or 29.

Queen posted a SPARQ score of 89.40 at The Opening Regional in Houston in April. That included a 4.79-second 40-yard dash, 4.44-second 20-yard shuttle, 35-foot kneeling powerball toss and 34-inch vertical jump.
