Kylin Hill received an offer from the Huskers on April 6, 2016.
A few weeks later, Nebraska showed Hill how interested they are in him. Recruiting staff member Todd McShane tweeted a picture of a stack of letters that were likely headed for Hill, a "playmaking running back from Mississippi."
Hill ran for 1,750 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior in 2015. He also 336 yards receiving with three scores.
Hill posted the 26th best SPARQ score (101.1) at The Opening Regional in Atlanta in March 2016 out of more than 400 participants. That included a 4.64-second 40-yard dash, 4.34-second 20-yard shuttle, 32.5-foot kneeling powerball toss and 37.6-inch vertical jump.
Hill announced his commitment to Mississippi State on May 18.
