Tyler Shelvin has been committed to LSU since March 2015, but John Parrella continues to recruit him.
Parrella made an in-home visit with Shelvin and his family on Dec. 4. Shelvin left that meeting planning to take an official visit to Nebraska the weekend of Jan. 13, which would be his first time coming to Lincoln.
“It would surprise me — but it wouldn't shock me — if Tyler came in here and told me he wanted to go to Nebraska,” said his coach, Lewis Cook, to The World-Herald.
Shelvin didn't make that NU visit, though, instead taking an official to LSU the weekend of Jan. 13, and afterward he decided to shut down his recruitment and not take any other visits.
These are the players who built Nebraska football.
