Noah Elliss is one of the top prospects in the state of Colorado, and he was also a top target of Husker defensive line coach John Parrella.

According to Scout, Elliss planned to take an official visit to Nebraska for the Minnesota game on Nov. 12.

He told Scout in late January that his final three schools were Colorado, Nebraska and Mississippi State. He has also previously visited Colorado and visits Mississippi State on the final weekend before signing day.

Elliss committed to Mississippi State on Jan. 29.

His dad, Luther Elliss, was a consensus All-American at Utah in 1994. He was a first-round NFL draft pick in 1995 of the Detroit Lions and spent 10 seasons in the league.

Noah Elliss attends the same high school that produced current Husker corner Eric Lee.
