Darrian Felix received an offer from the Huskers on Dec. 7, 2016.

That came when Nebraska running backs coach visited Felix at his high school.

Felix has previously taken official visits to Oregon (Oct. 8), Tennessee (Nov. 12) and North Carolina (Dec. 3).

Those three schools all occupy a spot in his top five, which he released on Dec. 27. So does Nebraska, and Clemson is the fifth school in the mix.

Felix committed to Oregon on Jan. 8.

Felix posted a SPARQ score of 128.76 at The Opening Regional in Orlando in February. That was the highest score at the event, and helped earn him an invite to The Opening Finals over the summer.

There he posted an even better SPARQ score — 139.38 — which was the fifth highest. It included a 4.48-second 40-yard dash, 3.96-second 20-yard shuttle, 38-foot kneeling powerball toss and 44-inch vertical jump.
