Max Duggan received an offer from the Huskers on June 5, 2017.

Duggan made visits to Nebraska on consecutive weekends to participate in the Huskers' Friday Night Light camps on June 16 and 23.

He's ranked as a pro-style quarterback by 247Sports and ESPN, but Rivals considers him to be a dual-threat passer.

“I don’t get too caught up in what style of quarterback I am,” said Duggan, who took over as starter by the end of his freshman season. “I pride myself on my accuracy and being a leader every day.”

Duggan threw for more than 1,600 yards with 15 touchdowns as a sophomore in 2016. He also added nearly 600 rushing yards with 14 more scores on the ground.

Athleticism runs in the Duggan family. His father and high school head coach, Jim, is a former quarterback at South Dakota. His mother, Deb, ran track at USD.

Duggan committed to TCU on April 15, 2018.
