Raymond Scott has been committed to USC since April 16, but he's still one of Nebraska's top linebacker targets.

He made his first visit to Nebraska on June 22 for that weekend's Friday Night Lights camp and Big Red Weekend. Afterward, he spoke highly of the visit in interviews with Huskers Illustrated and Husker Online.

Scott had 100 tackles, including seven for loss and one sack in 15 games as a junior in 2016. He had 140 tackles, 28 for loss and six sacks as a sophomore.

Scott posted a SPARQ score of 90.78 at The Opening Regional in Los Angeles in March 2017. That included a 4.78-second 40-yard dash, 4.33-second 20-yard shuttle, 35-foot kneeling powerball toss and 30.6-inch vertical jump. His performance at that camp earned him an invite to The Opening Finals.
