|Offer date||May 8, 2015|
Nathan Tilford received an offer from the Huskers on May 8, 2015.
He committed to Arizona on April 12, 2016.
Tilford at least remains open to other schools. He participated in Nebraska's satellite camp in Los Angeles in June 2016.
He made his first visit to Lincoln on June 24 when he participated in the Huskers' Friday Night Lights camp. After watching him work out, The World-Herald's Sam McKewon wrote this:
"Tilford is a pretty runner — long strides, like a track runner — but he's not a jitterbug. Is he a linebacker? A safety? A wideout? Tilford could actually be a running back at Nebraska, but he has the kind of athletic versatility that makes him capable of many positions."
Tilford is friends with several other Los Angeles-area Husker recruits, and that influence helped encourage Tilford to visit Nebraska.
At The Opening Regional in Los Angeles in February, Tilford posted a 4.24-second 20-yard shuttle, 41-foot kneeling powerball toss and 34.5-inch vertical jump. That helped earn him an invite to The Opening.
Tilford ran for nearly 900 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior in 2015.
These are the players who built Nebraska football.
