Nebraska's big run of June recruiting news continued Tuesday when Mesa (Arizona) Community College defensive back Will Jackson announced on Twitter he was committing to Nebraska.

Jackson had four interceptions in 2017. He originally signed with Kentucky in the 2015 class but was dismissed from the program for a violation of team rules in February 2016. He was originally a two-star prospect from St. John's High School in Washington D.C.

Jackson graduated from Mesa in May and would be immediately eligible for Nebraska.

Mesa defensive coordinator Chenelle Jones said Jackson is a "legit" 6-foot-3 and 192 pounds. He runs a "legit" 4.5-second 40-yard dash.

"He plays great press coverage," Jones said. "He's a big presence when he walks up on that line."
