Creighton coach Greg McDermott introduced his team to all-time great and recent College Basketball Hall of Fame member Paul Silas.
"Not only did (Silas) accomplish some unbelievable things as a player at the collegiate level and the professional level, but also his coaching career," McDermott said. "And the way he's represented Creighton, himself and his family during the course of his career is something we all should be very proud of."
Silas, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in Kansas City on Sunday, will watch the Jays take on UCLA.
Silas is third all time at Creighton with a scoring average of 20.5 points per game. He's one of only five men in NCAA history to average 20 points and 20 rebounds in his career. His No. 35 jersey is retired by CU.
