A defensive rebound. A perfect, court-length pass. An easy layup.
That's the formula that gave the Omaha Roncalli boys basketball team a victory over Omaha Skutt on Friday.
With the game tied at 41, Taiden Red gathered in a long pass after a defensive rebound and made a layup as time expired to give Class B No. 9 Omaha Roncalli the 43-41 win.
Red finished with seven points, while teammate Alex Rodgers scored 17. The game was close throughout, with Crimson Pride entering the fourth quarter down by one.
