What I do: I’m the reporting equivalent of a utility infielder. I’ve covered police, prisons, courts, county government, growth and development, sports and entertainment. Today, I work with the best team of political reporters in Nebraska to cover the intersection of politics and real life for The World-Herald. Our job is to make sense of the chaos on your Twitter and Facebook feeds and separate fact from fake.
About me: I’m a proud dad of two daughters, a husband, a youth sports coach and a news and sports junkie. If they play a sport, I’ll watch it. The gym is my sanity. Food, my problem. Been with The World-Herald since 2007, where I’ve served in various editing and writing roles. Took a two-year hiatus from news in the mid-2000s to learn state government from the inside. Cut my teeth at the Lincoln Journal Star.
