Fall Arts Preview

Pop Music

By Kevin Coffey / World-Herald staff writer

We have what you want.

If you like music — any kind of music — you’re covered.

Pop, metal, indie rock, folk, blues, bluegrass and country (and lots, lots more) will hit venues of all sizes in the area over the next year.

Baxter Arena’s second year will feature hard rock band Korn and a hip-hop show with Salt N Pepa and Vanilla Ice.

Over at the CenturyLink Center, thundering heavy metal legends Def Leppard and super popular pop duo Twenty One Pilots will take the stage. At Mid-America Center, thrash metal pioneers Megadeth will rattle the walls.

Pinnacle Bank Arena will get a heavy dose of country with Keith Urban, Alan Jackson and Eric Church. And singersongwriter Ben Folds will come to the area twice, once at a solo show and another with the Omaha Symphony.
